Still think wiretapping protects you?

In a recent poll, I noticed that Americans seem to be OK with wiretapping without a warrant. Of course, said Americans can't explain how that makes anyone safer.

Still think it's a good idea? What if it's used to silence whistle-blowers working with corrupt or unscrupulous government officials? Are you OK without that check in place?

Of course you do. You tote the party line and never decide anything for yourself. That's what's wrong with this country right now.

Big brother is watching...and listening. No one is safe. Not even retired ladies from Florida.

It keeps getting more disturbing...

If people inside the government have to fear that exposing a corrupt official will cause retribution, then our government is no longer accountable to its people. That's a problem.

Someone needs to challenge this bullshit. You want to spy on people? Get a warrant. The government itself is not above the law.
