Seattle, Portland and most of the south (except Tampa and Miami) qualify as some of the best places to find work.
Interesting report by Forbes ... I find it somewhat fascinating that it supports my very unscientific observations during a recent loop through the southeastern United States. The economy appeared to be quite robust in the Carolinas and at least viable in Kentucky and Georgia, while it was dismal in Florida. Recent discussions with friends reveal opportunities in Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado, while California, Arizona and Nevada are continuing on a downward spiral.
