Geauga Lake closing == good for business

Traffic on both sites went very high this weekend, unusual any time of year, but especially creeping toward the off-season.

I'm surprised at how relatively indifferent I am about it all. I mean, the last two summers, working right there, I didn't go that often (and I sure didn't spend extra money there). I don't even have any strong emotional attachment to the place. Heck, I think I have more fond memories of SeaWorld than I do Geauga Lake.

Well, it gave us some good podcast fodder. I need to crash though... I'll post that bit of audio goodness tomorrow night.

I'll be happy as long as I can ride Batamator again.

I've already gone through three "childhood" parks closing, and considering I've only been to GL three times, it's difficult to get riled up about it.

But some of the crap being spewed on the forums amazes me.

CF should name it Batamator. It's not that bad of a name!

So Jeff is profiting off of GL closing? That just adds more to the 'conspiracy!'

It makes perfect sense! Jeff is in so good with Kinzel and company that he's getting the piece of the pie. I bet Jeff was at the meeting back in '04 when they decided to close the park! You sheeple out there need to realize that you're being lied to!

Okay, I'm done. :)
