So now I know another two people in the iPhone club, Skydiving Jeff and Kristin. They both scored 4 gig models for $299 at AT&T stores. For both, that pricing was too good for them to pass up. That makes me wonder if Apple is missing the boat in terms of pricing, but on the other hand, they can't undercut the new iPod touch either, at risk of cannibalizing sales.
I showed some of the iPod announcement keynote to Diana, and she said she was really taken by Steve Jobs, and wanted to buy Apple stuff. That's the reality distortion field. Granted, the reality is still that the products are awfully cool, so I'm not sure how much distortion there really is exactly.
All the cool kids have Macs, iPods and iPhones now. You know you wanna be a cool kid, right?
This post serves no useful purpose whatsoever, I merely felt like composing it from my new iPhone. I'm in love!
I just read this for the first time on my iPhone while in the waiting room at the doctor's office. I've found so many practical uses for my iPhone. Leave it to Apple to suck me in with the "ooh fun shiny new toy" appeal and then astound me with how amazing the technology turned out to be. Each new Apple purchase makes me that much more of a fan of that Kool-Aid!
I am jealous of you all that are able to use Iphones. Where I live WWWAAAYYYY outside of Chicago you cannot get a signal with AT&T. So I had to return my Iphone. So I waited knowing at least the new Ipod would utilize the same tech. I bought an Ipod Touch this weekend to open it up turn it on to a horrible screen with any dark scenes in video or pics. I now see online it is everywhere. Seems to be a big issue. It is absolutely NOT the same screen as on the Iphone. They claim it is. My Iphone looked alot better. Anyway, I just hope Apple fixes this as my Ipod Touch went back today. As did many, many more all over the country. Enjoy your phones guys! I MISS it.....
