Out of curiosity, I did a little math. Apple says they expect to sell a million iPhones in this quarter. I read that a tree produces 80,500 pieces of paper. I don't know how many bills people are getting, so I'll say 20 pieces of paper.
(1,000,000 * 20) / 80,500 = 248.4 trees per billing cycle, or almost 3,000 trees per year for the iPhones sold in the first quarter. Granted, I don't know if my figures regarding sales and internet use are realistic, but it really makes you think. Specifically, what the fuck is AT&T thinking...
