This sun reminds me of many relaxed afternoons where I could drift off into a nap, sleeping in the sun, allowing my mind to wander free on anything I felt like thinking about with no pressure to get up. Then, as dusk starts to set in, I'd get something to eat and enjoy the breezes as I watch the kids in the cul de sac play some made up game, a beer in my hand. Later that evening I'd do some work on the computer or read.
Those are good times. I can't wait to make those simple good times happen again soon.
Now THAT is sleeping in the sun...during winter, no less.
But I know what you mean. Days like today (and tomorrow and Sunday are shaping up to be even better) bring thoughts of opening windows for some much needed fresh air in the house, lazy evenings after work relaxing on the deck, or early mornings with a cup of hot coffee, waking to sunshine and birdsong (much better than a blaring alarm clock and total darkness), and weekends working in my garden.
Not to mention getting some major stress relief at CP.
I took a good long walk today. It felt amazing Today's sunshine-with-just-a-slight-chill-in-the-air could stay here all year round and I'd be in heaven.
